Master Classes
During the Festival weekend there will be two Master classes taught by Susana Miller for the advanced or master dancer. There will also be a musicality and dj Master class taught by Osvaldo Natucci. Permission is required and the enrollment for the classes will be limited to individuals that purchase one of the Festival workshop passes.
Susana Miller will offer a master class on both Friday and Saturday. Osvaldo Natucci will offer a master class on Sunday.

Friday- 5:00-6:30pm - Milonguero Technique and secrets for the advance dancer (Part 1)
Saturday - 4:30-6:00pm - Milonguero Technique and secrets for the advance dancer (Part 2)
Master Class - Osvaldo Natucci
Rhythm, melody and harmony. Spontaneous Origins: The Orilleros.
The Old Guard: The arrival of the bandoneon. New Guard: The arrival of Mozart to tango. The Party of the 40s: A city starts to dance with their own art.
The two fatal injuries: Rock and political instability. The Modern Times: Pugliese, Salgan and Piazzolla. Today: good instruments. Tango Nuevo and for now an absence.
The tanguero Codes of DJing. Attributes of a DJ. The milonga is a ritual and DJ directs the ceremony.
Master Classes registration is restricted to advanced dancers - limited enrollment
Master class $35 for one class; $60 for two classes; $90 for three classes.
Note: the master classes are not part of the festival packages and must be paid for separately (permission required and registration for one of the workshop passes required).Please email masterclass@chicagotangofestival.com prior to registering for a class.
